Heatherstone Logistics

About Heatherstone

A regional courier, built in the Borders, for the businesses that actually need their logistics partner to answer.

Heatherstone Logistics started in 2014 with one van, two ex-Royal Mail drivers, and a stubborn idea: that a regional courier could be both place-based and corporate-grade. Twelve years on, we run twelve depots and 322 vehicles across Scotland and Northern England — and we still answer the phone within three rings.

How we operate

Four operating principles. They're on the wall in every depot.

Pick up the phone
Every customer has a named point of contact and a direct line. No queues, no IVR menus, no escalation tickets — a person who knows your account answers the call.
Drive what we know
We don't expand into geographies we cannot operate excellently. Twelve depots, six regions, and a fleet that knows the back roads. Growth is measured in service quality, not square miles.
Price it on the tin
Quotes include the things other couriers leave for the invoice — fuel surcharge, tail-lift, cold-chain logger, weekend premium. The number you see is the number you pay.
Hire drivers as professionals
Our drivers are full-time employees with annual GDP refreshers, manual handling cards, and a pension. Couriering is a career here, not a gig.

The story so far
