About Heatherstone
Heatherstone Logistics started in 2014 with one van, two ex-Royal Mail drivers, and a stubborn idea: that a regional courier could be both place-based and corporate-grade. Twelve years on, we run twelve depots and 322 vehicles across Scotland and Northern England — and we still answer the phone within three rings.

How we operate
The story so far
2014
Two ex-Royal Mail drivers and a single Mercedes Sprinter. First contract was a weekly run of vintage book reprints from a Borders printer to specialist bookshops in Edinburgh.
2016
Central belt cold-chain pharmacy network signed. Fleet hits 40 vehicles, first overnight pallet sort runs from Galashiels.
2019
Carlisle depot opens. Heatherstone becomes a true Scotland + Northern England operator. North-east Scotland (Aberdeen) follows the same year.
2022
Newcastle depot opens with the white-label fleet pilot. Three Newcastle e-commerce brands move onto Heatherstone-branded-as-them next-day delivery.
2024
Berwick-upon-Tweed opens, completing the coastal route. Real-time tracking goes free for every shipment, regardless of tier.
2026
1,840 active SMB and mid-market clients, 322 vehicles, 98.4% on-time. Privately held, no investors, no plans to sell.
